Ms. Sheela Goenka
Chairperson
Ms. Sheela Goenka succeeds Late Shri SS Goenka as the Chairperson of Tally Solutions along with guiding the corporate HR for the company. She has contributed to the growth of Tally to its present position as a market leader in India and one of the leading software brands in the world. In addition to handling several key corporate responsibilities, she has been instrumental in promoting Tally and expanding the company's footprint globally. Sheela provides stability, wisdom and practicality to the Tally leadership and management.
Mr. Bharat Goenka
Vice Chairperson
Mr. Bharat Goenka is the Vice Chairperson of Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd. A technocrat at heart, he established Tally Solutions (earlier known as Peutronics) in 1986, under the guidance of his father Late Shri SS Goenka, to leverage technology to help entrepreneurs manage their business better. Under his dynamic leadership, Tally has grown from an accounting package for SMEs to a complete business software for all types and sizes of businesses.
Mr. Tejas Goenka
Managing Director
Tejas Goenka leads the overall business operations at Tally and
manages the growth strategies for the company. Since taking over as the Managing
Director, Tejas has been focused on driving transformation across the
organization through operational effectiveness. He spearheads the Research,
Engineering, Product Management, Strategy, and Business Development functions in
the company along with Tally Education Pvt Ltd. An alumnus of University of
Pennsylvania, he was inducted into Tally in 2011.
His keen involvement and insights to the research & development team, has
led to the launch of TallyPrime, Tally’s new-gen business management software.
His interest in emerging markets and their economic potential has also led to
the business investing in and expanding into the Middle East, Africa, South-East
Asia, United States and Canada. Working towards the vision of making a connected
business environment for small and medium businesses, he sees a tremendous
opportunity to positively impact the lives of millions of entrepreneurs across
the globe.
Tejas has also been instrumental in leading Tally’s innovative selling and
servicing partner networking approach that comprises of over 28,000 partners to
a more accountable, higher quality network, which has resulted in aggressive
business growth. Right from transitioning into the GST era with the enhanced
product capability and distribution network to leading Tally’s to its 2
millionth license acquisition, he is known for his customer centric
approach.
Tejas enjoys reading, travelling and has an avid interest in Math.
Ms. Nupur Goenka
Executive Director
Nupur Goenka is the Executive Director at Tally Solutions and guides
the International Business, Corporate Finance, Corporate Information Systems and
Cloud Operations in the company. In her current role, she aims to streamline and
drive the various functions in line with the goals of the company.
In 2013, she co-founded Clustr, a big data and analytics subsidiary of Tally
Solutions. Nupur bootstrapped Clustr with a mission to empower Indian businesses
by democratizing the access to analytics and insights to drive business growth
across the MSME segment.
A Northwestern University alumnus, Nupur holds a bachelor’s degree in Cognitive
Neuroscience and Business Studies. She also spearheads Semicolon, a digital
publication that unboxes the culture, art, science, and evolution in the Mental
Health space through a community of experts from around the world.
Abhishek Dalmiya
Global Head - Strategic Alliances and Developer Ecosystem
Abhishek Dalmiya, the Global Head - Strategic Alliances and
Developer Ecosystem at Tally Solutions,
brings with him almost 25 years of cross-industry experience. With experience
across diverse industries, Abhishek entered the technology space in 2000 by
co-founding a start-up in the mobile application space and headed it for 8
years.
In his 10+ years at Tally, Abhishek has owned multiple Tally versions and
created a foundation for revolutionising digital banking for businesses. In his
current role, Abhishek is responsible for ensuring that his team always delivers
the right product in the market which delights the customers at scale. His
immediate challenge includes digitising GST for Tally’s customers. Due to his
experience, education and exposure to the SME market, Abhishek can visualise why
the product can positively impact SME businesses.
Though an MBA in Finance, Abhishek has always believed that technology can bring
huge changes in the life of people and businesses. Abhishek enjoys watching
cricket, tennis and soccer along with listening to music, in his free time.
Amrish Kumar Jain
Chief Information Officer
Amrish Kumar Jain is the Chief Information Officer at Tally
Solutions. In his current role, he provides the vision and leadership for
developing and implementing Enterprise Applications & Systems that align
with the organisation goals.
With over 20 years of experience in development of technology solutions in areas
of enterprise applications development, product development, information
security & IT services, Amrish has significantly contributed in the growth
and development of businesses he has been associated with. In the past, Amrish
has been associated with organisations such as Innoviti Payment Solutions, PVR
Limited and Reliance MediaWorks.
Amrish is an M.Sc. (Computer Science) graduate and holds an advanced computer
security certification from Stanford University. In his free time, he loves to
indulge in reading books and traveling.
Bhuwaneshwari B
CEO of Tally Education Private Limited (TEPL)
Ms. Bhuwaneshwari B, CEO of Tally Education Private Limited (TEPL) -
a subsidiary of Tally Solutions, has been associated with Tally Solutions for
over two decades. As CEO of TEPL, she envisages giving impetus to the very
objective of the organization, which is to create a conducive environment both
for learners, by assisting them to elevate their employability skills and
employers, by providing them with skilled resources.
Under her leadership, TEPL introduced TallyDigiLearn – a platform for an array
of industry- preferred specialized online courses, which allows learners to
upskill and reskill themselves from anywhere, anytime to advance in their
careers. This comes as an addition to the assisted-learning Courses and
Certifications that are delivered through a network of experts across the
nation.
Before taking the reign of TEPL, she spearheaded Tally customer support, known
as TallyCare, and raised it to enviable heights. Today, TallyCare holds the
emblem of the world’s best customer care. She has been instrumental in expanding
TallyCare at the national level and internationally to help customers transit
smoothly through VAT and GST phases. She exponentially expanded TallyCare from
being a centralised single-service desk to decentralised centres including
international ones, to cater to a vast range of customers efficiently. She has
also played an integral part in personalizing the support experience for over
25000 partners through a special initiative called “Optima”. The same experience
has been extended to the esteemed customers also. She has worked closely with
sales, service and support functions of Tally Solutions, thus contributing
enormously to the overall growth of the organization.
Bhuwaneshwari is an alumnus of The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore.
Jayati Singh
Chief Marketing Officer
Jayati Singh, the Chief Marketing Officer at Tally Solutions, brings
deep expertise in market strategy, product management, and "go to market"
executions. She currently overlooks Tally’s global marketing and leads a team of
diverse marketing professionals focussing on brand and product communications,
PR and digital strategy for India and global markets.
In her career spanning over 18 years, Jayati has undertaken multiple sales and
marketing focused roles, both in B2B and B2B segments. Having started her career
in Procter and Gamble, where she spent 7 years across sales and market strategy
and planning, her professional career includes business and marketing leadership
stints at BRITA GMBH, Usha International, Philips Consumer Lifestyle and ABN
Amro Bank.
Jayati holds a Masters in Sociology from Delhi School of Economics.
Jeodeendra Kumar
Head of International Operations
Jeodeendra Kumar, the Head of International Operations at Tally
Solutions, is a proven veteran in the accounting software domain. He has
in-depth understanding of the software product industry and is a great proponent
of Tally.
In his 30+ years of association with Tally, Jeodeendra Kumar has served in both
customer-facing and partner-facing roles. Having started as a customer support
executive in Bangalore, he moved on to a direct sales role in Mumbai, and
currently overlooks the growth and expansion of Tally’s international business.
His work has taken him across the globe, and he has the experience of working in
diverse markets & cultures like Asia-Pacific, Middle-East and the
Sub-Saharan & African countries. Prior to Tally, Jeodeendra was also
associated with The Economic Times for 2 years.
Jeodeendra Kumar is commerce graduate with a PG in Systems Management. He has
also completed a course in middle management from IIM – Ahmedabad.
Joyce Ray
Head - India Business
A veteran in Sales and Distribution with over 22 years of
experience, Joyce’s core expertise lies in setting up distribution networks,
channel management, ROI models, and formulating go-to market strategy for new
product launches. He is adept at managing large and complex sales teams. In his
current role at Tally, his vision is to work with the SME segment on three
critical transformation areas – Automation, Adoption of Accounting Standards and
Compliance.
In his previous roles, Joyce has been associated with organizations such as
Nokia, Gillette, ICI Paints and Kodak. His exposure across several industries
like telecom, FMCG, consumer durables and paints give him the ability to deeply
understand the impact technology can have on small and medium enterprises.
In his free time, Joyce likes to watch movies, listen to loads of music, fiddle
around with Arduinos, in photographing nature and people and maintaining a
planted tank.
Mamatha Gopinath
Head of TallyCare
Mamatha Gopinath, the Head of TallyCare at Tally Solutions, is
credited with scaling up TallyCare services and notably transforming customer
experience. She believes in cohesive effort and drives her team to be customer
centric and conscientiously deliver ‘Experience Par Excellence’.
She has been an integral part of Tally for over two decades, contributing to
different functions and majorly towards the growth of TallyCare. While Tally’s
customer base has grown exponentially, TallyCare services have matched with the
pace of growth. In 2017, consequent to spike is support requirement with GST
launch, she was instrumental in setting up and operationalizing over 900 desks
to ensure seamless operations across India. She currently handles 500+ TallyCare
members and has also ensured operationalising International TallyCare services
across UAE, Kenya, Bahrain, Saudi, Bangladesh, USA, and Indonesia.
Mamatha holds a master’s in commerce from Bangalore University and Executive
General Management from IIM-B.
Mukesh Khanna
Head of Strategy and Key Initiatives
Mukesh Khanna, the Head of Strategy and Key Initiatives at Tally
Solutions, brings with him 30 years of industry experience. A founder and ardent
promoter of successful businesses in the past, his entrepreneurial mindset has
played a key role in understanding the needs of SMEs across diverse geographies
like India, Nepal, UAE, Bahrain, HK, Singapore, Kazakhstan and Kenya.
In his current role, Mukesh is heading the management office and is responsible
for several key initiatives including the implementation of org-wide strategic
and execution planning, expansion to the US and Canadian market and third-party
alliances. He has also led several strategic projects including designing the
sales eco-system in India to establish role-based model with predictable growth
and delightful customer experience as the key objectives.
Mukesh is a certified NFNLP coach and his work, branded as ‘Work for Freedom’,
is patented in India in his name, which is also his message to entrepreneurs.
Mukesh has passionately pursued several residential programs from IIM-A,
including 3-TP Senior Management Program and a program on TSME. He is an avid
learner, traveller and spiritual practitioner, who also loves cooking in his
free time.
Nabendu Das
Chief of Engineering and Head of Products
Nabendu Das, the Chief of Engineering at Tally Solutions, brings
with him 20+ years of industry experience. He currently leads product
development and delivery for GST related products. He has previously led
development of Tally's products for the retail segment.
In the past, Nabendu has worked with Infosys in the Finacle product development
team, where he led engineering for key Finacle products, enterprise origination
system and liquidity management system. His experience also involves working in
the United States for a period of six years. Nabendu specialises in product
engineering, enterprise software, program management and software for banking
domain.
Nabendu is a BE (Mechanical) graduate from Jadavpur University and also holds an
M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from IIT Kanpur. He holds a
patent in Systems and Methods for Money Transfer Between Inter Entity Accounts
on a Liquidity Management Structure.
